Juice and smoothie bars are clients you should be expecting to see more of – it’s an industry that has seen massive growth in the last decade, and new outlets continue to pop up everywhere. In fact, Market Research World has called it “the new coffee shop revolution.”
You’ll no doubt have noticed some of the most common trends in among juice bar logos. Bright and varied colors that indicate freshness and flavor — with a particular emphasis on green — are pretty much a given. The typefaces are playful and generally fall into the novelty fonts category that so many designers hate to go near.
The playfulness is matched with a certain boldness: the lines in the illustrations and the weights in the typefaces are often of a heavier set.
The lesson is that a juice or smoothie bar logo should be playful, boisterous and loud – not reserved and quiet or dull.
